  1. This book is a real thriller. Mr Bolaji has shown that black African writers can produce exciting mystery stories with authentic local colour

  2. Tebogo and the haka is one of my favourite books. Omoseye Bolaji tells a good tale, almost from nothing, with twists and turns, humour and suspense. I agree that it is a good thriller

  3. It's a great book indeed. But revisiting the book, I was aware of a flaw by Ntate bolaji. In Page - 22, while Tebogo was chatting to Lebohang or one of the people who frequented the place. He (Tebogo) happen to pay particular interest in a young girl of about twelve or so years just out of the blue. Why? On Page 26 or 28 he admitted that there quite a handful of people around there, but why a sudden interest in a young girl who was send to buy a few beers! It's normal that older people tend to send young ones to buy them some beers although we all know that it's against the law. And after learning her name, everything started to fall onto his lap, I mean everyone he met (not mentioning the two guys he gave a lift to from town the township) met, was willing to talk about Jacob and Sol, is it coincidental?
