Aloa Ahmed Alota is editorial writer at The Point newspaper in Banjul, The Gambia. He is also executive secretary of the Deyda Hydara Trust (DHT), a organisation set up for the promotion of press freedom campaign across Africa. He is currently working on his first novel A Killer Also Dies, a story of a cub reporter who stumbles on a plot to kill her editor.Demba Ali Jawo is a former president of the Gambia Press Union (GPU).
